The EPC has a fresh format for 2013!
The Emerging Professional's Companion (EPC) is an online resource for interns to gain IDP credit. The EPC can also be used by educators, ARE® candidates, young architects, firms, and AIA components to enhance or create new learning opportunities.
The EPC contains seventeen (17) chapters that align with the experience categories and areas of NCARB's Intern Development Program (IDP). The EPC chapters are now available in interactive PDF format for an improved user experience. Download the entire EPC by clicking the cover image to the left (PDF, 49 MB). You may also download each chapter individually using the drop-down menus at the top of the webpage.
- EPC activities are approved by NCARB as Supplemental Experience in the IDP
- One (1) EPC activity equals eight (8) hours of Supplemental Experience
